The concept :

50 electric vehicles on the same road, at the same time, under the same conditions to measure the consumptions ... This is the Mega Challenge !

The rules :

• A/C at 22°C
• Regenerative brakes at the max
• Normal drive mode
• Classic drive (not eco-driving)

Conclusions :

1. An electric motorcycle consumes half as much as the most efficient electric car.
2. The most efficient electric car requires around 2 times less electricity than the most greedy car of our test.
3. Unsurprisingly, the size of the rims has an impact on the consumption of the car (see Tesla Model Y propulsion, 453 vs 417km of autonomy).
4. 9 vehicles in the top 15 have an architecture dating back more than 5 years.
5. 8 cars in the top 10 have a battery capacity of less than 60kWh and 5 vehicles in the top 6 are below 40kWh.
